1. What we collect

We only collect information you knowingly submit through our forms:

• Advisory enquiries — name, work email, role/title, institution, institution type, area of interest, timeframe, and the message you provide.
• Newsletter (The Desk) — email address, optional name and institution.
• Lead-magnet downloads — email address and institution to send you the briefing.
• Training registration — name, email, phone and payment reference to enrol you and email the joining link.

We do not use marketing pixels or third-party advertising trackers. We do not sell, rent or share your information with data brokers.

2. How it is stored

Form submissions are stored on our managed backend with row-level access controls. Only Savvies Desk personnel who need the record to respond to you can read it. Transport is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

3. NDA on engagement

Every advisory engagement begins under a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Details you share on the enquiry form, and anything discussed on subsequent calls, are treated with the same discretion — client identities and specifics are never referenced in marketing, references or public writing without written permission.

4. Retention

• Advisory enquiries that do not convert: retained for 24 months, then deleted.
• Active client records: retained for the life of the engagement and 7 years after, to meet professional and regulatory obligations.
• Newsletter subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe. Every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Training registrations: retained for 7 years for tax and audit purposes.

5. Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 and comparable East African regimes, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Email info@savviesdesk.io and we will respond within thirty days.

6. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function (session, security). We do not currently run analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and prompt for consent before setting them.
